    If your arbor happens to have enough length of thread you can double up hole saws, otherwise you need to get one of those "oops" arbors like the Starrett KA19-N

    I love that you mentioned the auger. I found out the hard way that they do get really tight. In fact, I couldn’t get it off. I took it to two different hardware stores before one of the gentlemen had to use a vice and a wrench to get it off. I finally bought one of those that you recommended it cost me about 30 bucks, it is worth it!

    Nice demo... You could loosen it with just one blow... I need to open philips head screws on my motorcycle engine cover. The screw grooves are slightly stripped on account of multiple tryouts by a screw driver. I have put a lot of WD-40 and some coconut oil on these screws hoping it to get softer. Would multiple strikes with a impact driver help if it does not loosen in one or two strikes? Thanks

    • @Webpromotions
      @Webpromotions 11 месяцев назад

      Just calculate the total amount of tiles you need then add 10-20%. (Just remember if your floor and walls are different type of tiles then calculate the floor +10-20% then calculate the walls +10-20%)

    • @unperrier
      @unperrier 6 месяцев назад

      because ridges up, it dries very easily whereas with such tiny groves facing down, water can't actually escape because of surface tension. This guy is wrong, he put his boards upside down, and in this other video a professional explains why: ruclips.net/video/Jn8DR2UkFbQ/видео.html

    Sorry if I missed this info in the video, but what sort of cement did you use in the grout mix to match the sandstone? I'm not sure what cement to use to get a sand stone coloured grout (I know it's not a standard cement mix). Appreciate your help.

    • @BassValleyHandyman
      @BassValleyHandyman 2 года назад

      Hi Andrew, we used a grout that is suitable for larger gaps not the standard one you would use inside for example. In this case we used Ardex WJ50 grout which is good for grout joints 2 to 50mm and comes in a variety of colours. If you go to a quality tile shop they should be able to help you out as most manufacturers have similar options. Cheers, Scott

    Hi... I was looking for a High Modulus for my bath/shower. I wandered over the street and I was lowered and beheld... I found a Arbosil HM High Modulus Sealant unopened in the street. (My neighbor but two is a Handy Guy.) I got it as it must have fell out his van and he didn't notice. I cleaned it up the next day. I will use this when I fill the bath/shower with water then use it as with the load of water or a person it will be in it. Fill the bath before you put the sealant on to allow the weight of you showering. Otherwise it will just split.

      An old question, but I had horrendous black stains, that turned out the mildew and dirt, and rust stains. Pool chlorine was magic kn thr black mildew and dirt. After numerous trial and error attempts at the rust, phosphoric acid, that is sold as salt water chlorinator cell cleaner, dilute 10:1 was magic and didn't take out the colour of thr sandstone as Hydrochloric acid did. Phosphoric acid is a common component of "rust converter". I soaked a rag and lay it over the rust stains until gone. In a couple of places overnight and it rained, but tiles like new.
